Dental Implants & Advanced Implant Solutions

Dental Implants & Advanced Implant Solutions

Dental implants provide a secure, long-term solution for replacing missing teeth and restoring both function and confidence. From replacing a single tooth to rebuilding an entire arch, we offer a comprehensive range of implant treatments tailored to your individual needs.

Our implant treatments are delivered by a team of MSc-qualified implant surgeons, with experience in both routine and complex implant rehabilitation. We use detailed clinical assessment, digital scanning and 3D imaging where appropriate to carefully plan treatment and achieve predictable, natural-looking results.

Single Dental Implants

A single dental implant can replace an individual missing tooth without requiring the neighbouring healthy teeth to be prepared.

The implant is placed within the jawbone and, following healing and integration, supports a custom-made crown designed to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Benefits include:

  • Replaces a missing tooth without compromising adjacent teeth
  • Excellent stability and function
  • Highly aesthetic, natural-looking results
  • Helps preserve the bone surrounding the missing tooth
  • Provides a long-term solution with appropriate care and maintenance

Implant Bridges

Where several adjacent teeth are missing, an implant-supported bridge can replace multiple teeth using strategically positioned implants.

This provides a stable alternative to a conventional bridge and avoids relying on neighbouring natural teeth for support.

Implant-Retained Overdentures

For patients missing many or all of their teeth, implant-retained overdentures can provide significantly greater stability than conventional removable dentures.

Implants are strategically placed and connected to the denture using specialised attachment systems, helping to reduce movement and improve confidence when eating and speaking.

The denture remains removable, allowing for convenient cleaning and maintenance.

Fixed Full-Arch Implant Solutions u2013 All-on-4 & All-on-6

For patients who have lost all or most of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth have a poor long-term prognosis, full-arch implant treatment can provide a complete set of fixed replacement teeth supported by dental implants.

All-on-4 uses four strategically positioned implants to support a full fixed arch, while All-on-6 uses six implants where additional support and implant distribution may be beneficial.

These solutions can provide a significant improvement in stability, function and confidence compared with conventional dentures.

Where clinically appropriate, immediate-function protocols may allow a provisional fixed set of teeth to be provided shortly after implant placement.

Advanced Implant Solutions for Severe Bone Loss

Significant bone loss does not necessarily mean that implant treatment is impossible.

For patients with a severely atrophic upper jaw, we also offer advanced implant techniques including pterygoid and zygomatic implants.

Pterygoid implants utilise the dense bone towards the back of the upper jaw, providing an alternative anchorage point in selected patients with limited posterior maxillary bone.

Zygomatic implants are longer implants that anchor into the strong zygomatic (cheek) bone. They can provide a solution for carefully selected patients with severe upper-jaw bone loss who may otherwise require extensive bone grafting procedures.

These advanced techniques require detailed planning and specialist clinical expertise and are considered on an individual basis.

Soft Tissue Grafting & Aesthetic Implant Dentistry

Successful implant treatment is not only about the implant itself. The health, volume and appearance of the surrounding gum tissue play an important role in achieving a natural and stable result.

We offer a range of soft-tissue grafting procedures, including connective tissue grafts, to improve the quantity and quality of gum tissue where clinically indicated.

Soft-tissue grafting may be used to:

  • Improve the thickness and volume of gum tissue around implants
  • Treat or prevent gum recession
  • Improve the appearance of the gum line
  • Enhance the aesthetic outcome of implant treatment
  • Improve soft-tissue stability around teeth and implants
  • Support long-term maintenance of implant restorations

Where required, soft-tissue procedures can be incorporated into a wider implant treatment plan to optimise both function and aesthetics.

Comprehensive Implant Care

Our approach is not simply about placing implants u2014 it is about planning and managing the entire rehabilitation.

From simple single-tooth replacement to complex full-arch cases involving bone and soft-tissue reconstruction, All-on-4/All-on-6, pterygoid or zygomatic implants, we can provide a comprehensive range of treatment options under one team.

All implant treatment is carried out by our MSc-qualified implant surgeons, combining advanced clinical expertise with modern digital planning and a strong focus on predictable, functional and natural-looking results.

Our goal is to provide you with teeth that look natural, function comfortably and are designed around your individual needs and long-term oral health.
