Initial Condition
This patient had lost all of her natural teeth over the years and wore full upper and lower dentures. With very little bone left in the lower jaw, the lower denture moved constantly — so much so that she had stopped wearing it and was managing with the upper one alone.
She wanted a lower denture that would stay in place while she ate and talked.
After a 3D scan to plan the treatment safely, we placed two implants in the lower jaw and allowed them to heal.
We then fitted small attachments so the denture clips securely onto the implants. It stays firmly in place while worn, and still lifts out easily for cleaning.
