Initial Condition
This patient had a bridge replacing a missing tooth on the upper left, supported by the tooth beside it. Over the course of a year it had come loose around six times and needed re-fixing each time, leaving him with a gap whenever it did.
He was looking for a more permanent, reliable solution.
We began with a 3D scan to plan the treatment accurately and confirm there was enough healthy bone. There was, in an ideal position.
We placed a single dental implant — a small titanium post that acts as a tooth root — and allowed it to heal and integrate with the bone. Once it was stable, we fitted a fixed bridge onto it, replacing the missing teeth with two that stay permanently in place.
